What better muse willl there be,
Than that,
Of your own reflection.
Stare at the mirror, watch your face, reflect,
A thousand times over.
Oh! your self hatrid fills you,
As the thousand pieces of ice cold you,
Peirce your selfish non existant heart.
how could your life be so cold?
Watch from the safety of inside yourself,
As you manipulate,
Your way through life.
Everything around you,
Winds itself, around your own, little finger
With the twists and coos,
Of your voice and words.
Bat your long lashes,
Entice them.
As sentences slip past your lips,
The same words,
Over and over this time.
With a different meaning.
Oh how tragic your life,
Selfish down to the sylables you use,
And the colours you taste,
As you fling yourself into misery and dispair.
Cause your life is meaningless,
when they stop believing in the words you say.
Than that,

I love how the word manipulator triggered this whole poem. XP
I really felt this aura of self pity and sarcasm throughout this. What I like a lot is this pictured of you thinking/talking to yourself. It's almost the brink of insanity but too real to be insane type thing.
Also, "when you manipulate your way through life" I love this line. It just really really stuck out to me and I seriously don't think i'll ever forget it. I find that a lot of people manipulate their way through life, though not nescessarily in the way you've described here.
Another reason I felt I could connect with this is because you made it so personal. I find you do this with a lot of your poems and it really pulls the reader in to try and relate.
